The competition includes two rounds.
Video
First Round
- The repertoire should be performed by heart!
- Upload your performance to YouTube and paste the link directly into the application form. The video may be Public or Unlisted, but it must remain accessible to the jury until the finalists are announced.
- Pronunciation of the name and surname of the participant
- Presentation of the composer and the works
Minimum video resolution: 1280×720 HD. Landscape orientation / 16:9 recommended. The video should have good lighting.
- Hands and face should be clearly visible throughout the recording
- The whole competition program must be performed as in a normal competition. At the beginning of the video, the participant should briefly state their full name and the repertoire being performed. The performance itself must be recorded in one continuous take, without audio or video editing.
- Performance duration: 8–10 minutes.
The jury will select six finalists.
Announcement of Finalists
The six finalists will be announced on 18 September 2026 and contacted directly by email.
Final Round
4 October 2026, 10:00 Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts “Prof. Asen Diamandiev”, Plovdiv, Bulgaria
- Important: The repertoire performed in the Final Round must be different from the repertoire submitted for the First Round.
The repertoire should be 17–20 minutes long.
Six finalists perform live in front of the jury and audience.
- The Final will be held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, on October 4, 2026, at 10.00

The assessment
The artistic and technical difficulty of the repertoire, compliance of the musical text, originality of the interpretation, culture, variety of the sound, and artistry.
The jury’s decisions are final. It also reserves the right not to give all the announced prizes.
