THE GUITAR NATURES
Artists live in a province located between the worlds of the physical and the metaphysical, the material and the immaterial.
A world where ideas are born, live their own lives, communicate with other ideas, expand, explode and create new life.
Angel Demirev knows this vast world and with his guitar searches including musical provocation, combinations of nomadic and all kinds of Eastern/Western music, he finds his place in it more and more skillfully. Stamping his own handwriting in compositional terms, as well as in the style of performance.
The subtitle “The Guitar Natures” refers to the dual nature of the guitar (electric and acoustic) and this is what sets the direction of the “Double Trio” project, in which you can enjoy original compositions by Angel Demirev, as well as interpretations of melodies from different parts of the world.

DUENDE
Flamenco performance by “David Bermudez Flamenco Quintet”
With the flamenco spectacle “Duende” by David Bermudez Flamenco Quintet, the audience of the 9th edition of the international “Plovdiv GuitArt Fest” will experience an unforgettable evening filled with passion and emotions touching the heart and soul. The famous flamenco dancer Noelia Vargas will also contribute to the explosive show. In her extensive career, Vargas toured the most important stages in the world, among others, in Malaysia, England, Mexico, Argentina, Greece in some of the most emblematic theaters such as Odeon and Broadway.
The band is led by the talented pianist David Bermudez, who mixes Catalan and Andalusian rhythms in his work in a remarkable way. Currently, he is working with several dance groups, among them the Compañia Maria Serrano. He uses his experience in Latin-American music to work at the side of the renowned singer Luis Frank of the group Buena Vista Social Club.

WHO IS THIS?
The art of trio is where it all started for those three gentlemen. Funk music has been the constant companion on the way for more than a decade now. T.O.L. consolidates the musical vision of the three musical personalities. You are in for a funky ride fusing many urban music styles like jazz, funk and hip-hop.

TANGO CATS & DEL PADRE
WHO IS THIS?
Tango Cats” is born in 2016 from the love of three Bulgarian musicians to the dance of passion – tango. The “Cats”, however, break down the familiar to propose a different sound and a new concept. The project is innovative, nevertheless its objective is to make a completely authentic tango tune. This is achieved thanks to the arrangements of Mladen Taskov, who “tame” all styles with incredible finesse. The trio performs musical pieces by Astor Piazzola, Carlos Gardel, Richard Galliano, D’arienzo, Troilo, Di Sarli, Fresedo, D’agostino and Moricone.
The concerts of Tango Cats are never the same – for each performance permanent band members invite guest musicians and dancers.
“From Buenos Aires to Andalucia” is a captivating fusion of Argentine tango with Spanish flamenco, combining the best of both worlds, on one stage. At the Orpheus Summer Cinema, audiences will stroll through the bustling streets of Buenos Aires and immerse themselves in the fiery passion of Andalucia, while Tango Cats and Del Padre combine their styles in one mesmerizing performance. They promise an unforgettable evening of music, dancing and energy.
